Where a deposit is required or a credit card must be verified in order to secure a booking, Allocate interfaces with Protx a payment service provider that is accredited by the payment card industry. Additional charges are made by Protx and a separate account is needed with them. More payment service providers will shortly be added.
Allocate will also shortly have a Property Management System (PMS) interface which can be used where a hotel wishes to use a PMS availability and/or prices. Booking details are automatically written to both the Allocate and PMS databases. Four market leading PMS solution providers have so far agreed to interface with Allocate.
